Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer purchasing from EK online, you generally have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period generally begins on the day you, or a person you have designated who is not the carrier, receives the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within the applicable withdrawal period using the contact details provided on our website.
How to Return an Order
Before sending an item back, please contact EK and provide:
* Your order number
* Your name
* The item(s) you wish to return
* The reason for the return, if you wish to provide one
We will provide you with the necessary return instructions.
Please return the item within the applicable statutory period after exercising your right of withdrawal.
Return Shipping Costs
For a normal return or withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
EK does not cover return shipping costs for returns due to a change of mind, incorrect size, or personal preference.
If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us before returning it. In such cases, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Condition of Returned Items
Please handle the goods only to the extent necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Returned items should preferably be:
* Unworn
* Unwashed
* In their original condition
* Returned with original tags and packaging, where applicable
Your statutory rights are not affected if an item has been handled as permitted by law.
If the value of the goods has been diminished because they were handled beyond what was necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning, the applicable statutory rules concerning diminished value apply.
Refunds
Once your withdrawal has been validly exercised, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.
This generally includes the cost of the standard delivery option you selected when placing your order. Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery option are generally not refundable.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless another arrangement has been agreed.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include:
* Your order number
* A description of the problem
* Clear photographs of the item
* Photographs of the packaging, if relevant
We will review the issue and assist you in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Exchanges
If you would like a different size or product, please contact EK. Depending on availability, we may ask you to return the original item and place a new order.
Exceptions
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain goods or circumstances provided for by law. If an exception applies to a particular product, this will be communicated where required before purchase.
